Bio:

Nicole Rustad is a Mom, a long time resident of Kelowna and the Kids Helping Kids, Manager for Disney Online Studios Canada.  In this capacity, she is responsible for managing the Corporate Social Responsibility of the company and in this role she determines where a percentage of net profit is donated to worthy projects helping kids around the world.  Nicole is also responsible for encouraging and supporting employee volunteerism efforts within the company both locally and globally.   Finally, in her role at Disney Online, Nicole looks for ways to encourage kids globally in their market to get involved and give back.  

Nicole has an extensive history of volunteerism with a variety of causes both within and outside of our community.  Currently she co-chairs a 100-km relay called “A Great Big Run For Africa” raising funds for Partners in the Horn of Africa’s micro-financing programs for impoverished women; she was the founding President of the Okanagan Jaycees; 8-time chair of the Terry Fox Run and has been a part of many different community and global organizations both as a volunteer and board member.  

Nicole obtained a Bachelor of Arts Degree from McGill University and her Certified Financial Planner Designation while working in the Financial Services industry prior to working with Disney.
